Centennial Of Theological College, The Catholic Academy Of America's Seminary

The Archivist's Nook weblog of The Catholic University of America offers an interesting post, "Theological College--First 100 Years," past times Shane MacDonald.  MacDonald provides a brief historical sketch of the early on history of the institution's seminary.  The seminary, founded inwards 1917, was initially known every mo Sulpician Seminary.  The cite changed to Theological College inwards the 1940s.

Andover Newton Theological Schoolhouse Plans To Sell Campus In Addition To Merge

The Boston Globe reported on Nov 12, 2015 that the Andover Newton Theological School is planning to sell campus holding in addition to seek a merger or consolidation amongst some other institution.  Andover Theological Seminary was founded inward 1807 in addition to was closely associated amongst New England Congregationalism.  Newton Theological Institution was a Baptist seminary founded inward 1825.  The 2 institutions merged inward 1965.  Andover Newton currently offers Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in addition to Doctor of Ministry degrees.
