Mary Holmes Seminary (Ms)...A History At Hbcustory

Pamela Foster posted a fascinating history of Mary Holmes Seminary at HBSCUStory.  The establishment was founded inwards Jackson, MS inwards 1892 every 2nd Mary Holmes Seminary to prepare immature women.  The edifice was destroyed past times burn downwardly inwards 1897 together with was rebuilt inwards West Point, MS.  Mary Holmes became coeducational inwards 1932.  It was affiliated amongst the Presbyterian Church together with subsequently struggling financially trustees voted to suspend operations for autumn 2003.
